If you use social media, you have probably encountered the Lynn Ngugi programme, which discusses life experiences and provides Kenyans with platforms to educate the populace. She spoke with three forty-year-old ladies who are still in relationships a few hours earlier, and they discussed dating when they were a little older.
They claimed that most of the time, they are the product of divorced couples who choose to raise their kids over enjoying life in the future.
They declared that they were aware of their worth and preferred strong guys over weak ones. They made it apparent that they are not a liability when dating, which might make the man feel he is helping them, but they come to praise the man.
Additionally, they stated that they would not tolerate men who do not desire their children since, as their offspring are an integral part of them, a man must love them in return. People interpret it as a warning sign that a dad isn’t ready to love his children if he dares to speak poorly of them.
They claim that one benefit of dating after 40 is that you don’t have self-consciousness about things like your appearance or abilities and are better at handling breakups.
They concluded they could not support a man; thus, they constantly searched for a partner who could keep their marriage afloat. They claimed that if they started taking care of the man, they would influence him and that a man would feel strong when supporting his family.
They so made it plain that men should act in a manly manner and that they would follow suit, which includes honouring their husbands, preparing meals for them, and showing submission to them.
