A man who is allegedly the immediate younger brother of Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has been abducted by suspected gunmen.

This was revealed in a Monday post that was published on X.

The man and another kidnapped person were shown sitting on naked ground with two gunmen standing behind them, both fully strapped with live ammunition, in a horrific video that was posted.

In what appeared to be an investigation and confirmation of his affiliation with the Dauda Lawal, one of the gunmen asked the aforementioned brother of the Zamfara governor questions in Hausa.

Guns were pushed on the heads of the other kidnapped victim and the shooters behind him as they were being questioned.

The victims were reportedly kidnapped in an unidentified remote area of Zamfara state.

As of the time this report was filed, the state governor had not confirmed the kidnapping of his brother, nor had there been any official confirmation of the incident.
