The actor who starred in the 2007 Nollywood film 666, Musa Ibrahim, has opened up about his experiences both during and after the film’s production.

Ibrahim, who has been out of the Nollywood industry for a while, talked candidly about the difficulties he encountered after his part in the contentious movie in an exclusive interview with Lucky Udu.

“The film 666 wasn’t just an ordinary movie, though many may perceive it as such,” he stated.

Ibrahim disclosed that he experienced a number of personal difficulties as a result of working on the movie, including what he called spiritual assaults.

“After the movie, I had an accident and was hospitalized for nearly two years. For you to expose the devil, it’s not an easy task. Viewers just watch movies, but we, the actors, experience the repercussions firsthand. After that movie, I went through a lot,” he shared.

Ibrahim’s open admissions illuminate the hidden challenges that some actors in the business endure, especially when working on projects with complex and contentious subjects.

His story provides insight into the commitment and selflessness of people working in the Nollywood sector.
