Foluke Daramola, a well-known actress from Nollywood, has expressed that she does not feel like someone who is married.

During a recent interview on the African A-List podcast, the actress made the comments.

When talking about her marriage to Kayode Salako, she referred to her husband as the “definition of peace.”

Daramola remarked on the freedom she enjoys in her marriage, saying, “I don’t feel like I’m married. My husband is the definition of peace for me. If I tell Kayode now that I will be going to Canada tonight and will spend up to a year there, he will say bye-bye. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t love me; he just feels like he shouldn’t cage me.

“So I don’t feel like I’m married. He is my very good friend and my greatest cheerleader. When we fight, you would think that the marriage is going to end, but give us two hours, and everything will be settled,” she added.

This occurs two years after Kayode Salako confirmed his marriage to another woman, Oluwafunke Oyegoke-Salako, while still being married to the actress.

He justified his choice to marry someone else by saying that he and Foluke had been married for 13 years without having any biological children.

Remember that the couple tied the knot in 2010.
