According to reports, Oyo State Police Command officers detained Dolapo Gafar, also known as Governor Ifedolapo, a member of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, after he threatened Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke in a video.

Ibadan resident Gafar was reportedly charged in a magistrate court on Tuesday morning, according to posts made by APC members in the state.

According to the post, CSP Adefisoye Kazeem and Nurudeen Kareem, the Special Adviser to Governor Adeleke on Legal Matters, filed a petition that led to Gafar’s detention and subsequent arraignment.

In the meantime, Gafar promised to make Governor Adeleke’s life intolerable if he ever defected to the APC in a video that OSUN DEFENDER was able to secure.

In the video, the APC member claimed that after seeing what would happen to him if he defected to the party, the governor would plead for his life.

In the video, Gafar, who spoke Yoruba, stated, “I don’t need anything from your family but I can tell you that if you decamp to the APC, within a week, you will get tired of life. What we are showing you now is just a preamble.

“We will make life unbearable for you to the point that you will regret coming to the APC. Even those following you to the APC will regret doing so.

“We will frustrate you to the point that you will beg for death to take you. We will make you weep when you see the government house. I don’t hide behind the keypad. You’ve not seen anything.

“We will show you what they call ‘pepper’. I’m not talking on behalf of any leader or follower. Whoever wants to align with my idea is free. I’m just waiting for the announcement that you’ve decamped to the APC. We’ve set a trap for you. We will make life unbearable for you to the point that your party members will seek death as an alternative.

“We will let you know that you are a nobody and I don’t have any I want from you. The time I needed you, you behaved like an animal.”
