A Nigerian lady’s public confession of lying to her boyfriend has drawn attention from social media users.
The lady explained that she was actually attending her own introduction ceremony, but she had told her boyfriend she was going to a friend’s grandfather’s funeral.
Her official TikTok account, @getslimwithjnero, posted the video, which went viral right away. Netizens’ reactions to it were mixed, with some applauding her honesty and others criticizing her behavior.
“Life so private I told my boyfriend I was going for my friend’s grandpa burial where as it was my introduction,” she captioned the video.
