A lady, @ononeyi_z3, has announced that she will no longer be going to her RCCG branch after worshiping there for months.
General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye is in charge of the church, which is well-known throughout the world and especially in Nigeria and other African countries, but the woman said she has ended with her local branch.
On TikTok, the woman shared her story, stating that she was raised in Deeper Life Church but moved to the Redeemed Church branch after relocating.
She stated that her decision to leave the local church was motivated by honesty, healing, and maintaining her peace rather than hatred.
She described the events of a discussion service on marital infidelity, which was facilitated by the wife of the pastor of her branch, as the factors that influenced her choice.
To her dismay, the pastor’s wife did not hold the men responsible or warn them about the risks and repercussions of adultery, instead encouraging women to pray for their unfaithful husbands.
“.I just couldn’t wrap my head around how people that are supposed to be leading the church are encouraging sin basically. Because, fornic.ation is a sin.
“Like, they only focus on how forn.ication is a sin when you are not married, but men would be married to a woman, commit adultery and fornic.ation outside of that marriage and they would not focus on him.”
She also mentioned that according to the pastor’s wife, a praying wife would have black knees. Men were never counseled to quit cheating by them.
She didn’t like that they never held guys responsible throughout the military. She still thinks there are wonderful churches out there and wants to discover the one for her.
