A handful of married ladies have caused a commotion in the marketplace by abruptly leaving in protest of the startlingly high number of husband-snatching cases that are taking place in Asaba.
The women were seen demonstrating in a market to draw attention to the issue and express their rage.
In a video that became popular on social media, the women were shown holding various banners advertising their campaign against husband snatching.
A placard they were holding said,
“We are tired. Single girls leave out husbands to come back to their wives and children.”
If they found any unmarried women with their husbands, they swore to expose them.
