He hails from Uganda, Africa’s gem, and has become a global sensation thanks to his large Tiktok following.
The young youngster started creating content in 2018, but it took him six years to reach viral. His breakout video came in 2024, and it was a humorous song, Tenge Tenge, Tengeree.
The meaning of Tenge Tenge
For those interested in the meaning behind the name ‘Tenge Tenge,’ it is thought that this term derives from the native language of Luganda, and it represents the act of cheering up a small child about to take their first steps, which is where Rango drew his moves and words from.
