On March 5, 2025, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the lawmaker for Kogi Central, made a spectacular entrance into the Senate Chamber with her spouse as the plenary session resumed after a week-long break.

In an affectionate gesture, her husband kissed her for a few seconds before she sat down in the room.
