VIDEO: Mum in pain as American-born daughter she brought to Nigeria changes

After returning to their birthplace, a Nigerian mother’s daughter underwent a dramatic shift, which was captured in a humorous video.

The video compared the mixed-race child’s freewheeling playing in Nigeria with her refined manner in America.

The video, which was uploaded to TikTok by @ price_gopeh, demonstrated the daughter’s versatility.

After arriving in Nigeria, the second shot showed her playing happily with kids in the sand, while the first scene had her looking sophisticated in America.

In the humorous commentary that accompanied the film, the mother expressed her astonishment at her daughter’s ability to change from a sophisticated “ajebo” (posh child) to a vivacious “kpako” (street-smart kid) with ease.

“My daughter in America vs my daughter in Nigeria. Me thinking that I gave birth to ajebo children not knowing that na area boy and kpako I born. My daughter literally the same day we arrived our home in Nigeria,” she said.
