VIDEO: ‘My father disowned me, my siblings’ – Seyi Awolowo

Seyi Awolowo, star of the reality show Big Brother Naija, has shared his childhood troubles.

The reality star said in an interview with well-known media personality Chude Jideonwo that his father had disowned him multiple times.

The late Obafemi Awolowo’s grandson talked about his difficult upbringing in a polygamous household and revealed that his father maintained thorough records on every child.

He said, “My father disowned me a couple of times. Not just me, a couple of us because my father married three wives.

“My father wrote letters to cut off his children, reducing our identities to mere names on a list. We all have files. ‘As of right now, your name is just Seyi, full stop”.
