After committing an honest error at work, a Nigerian student in the UK was threatened with deportation.
After three years in the UK, Enyi Onyinye Grace told her heartwarming tale to online users.
Ms. Grace was seen crying as she described her experience in the video, which was uploaded on X by @instablog9ja.
She claims that her employer told her that the Home Office had been in touch with them because she had overworked without realizing it.
After explaining her behavior to her employer, she believed the issue had been settled.
She was eventually approached by the Home Office, who said she had worked more hours than permitted and asked for an explanation.
Ms. Grace asserted that she was open and honest about her circumstances, stating that she had been dealing with depression after the passing of her father.

Her university canceled its support despite her candor, citing her error as the primary cause.
Ms. Grace claimed that she begged the institution to change their mind, stating that she was in danger, but they allegedly turned her down.
She said that she was viewed as though she had committed a deliberate transgression.
She would not be able to earn her degree because the university rejected her request to finish her coursework online while she was back home.
Her father had always wished for Ms. Grace to do well academically, and she had done so.
She was, however, denied the opportunity to finish her education and issued a deportation order with immediate effect.
