After being discovered using a dressed chicken to mimic a newborn baby in order to stage a fictitious pregnancy and miscarriage, a Nigerian woman has provoked fury on social media.

Videos of the dramatic altercation were featured in a TikTok post that went viral, exposing the fraud. The woman allegedly collaborated with medical experts to stage a six-month pregnancy, according to the uploader.

When asked to see the miscarried child’s body, she insisted that the remains were in a sealed box. But after her mother-in-law became suspicious, the package was opened, revealing a chicken that had been dressed to resemble a baby—complete with a tiny cap.

Upon learning that the chicken had been purchased for 7,000 francs and meticulously dressed in what appeared to be an attempt to deceive others, the bizarre find left observers in disbelief.

Since then, the video has gone viral and generated thousands of online comments. Social media users have expressed their surprise, disapproval, and amusement at the strange and unsettling stunt.
