According to a Nigerian woman, her father told her not to get married.
The elderly single woman was questioned about why she hadn’t been married yet.
The woman stated in a TikTok video posted by @chidexpeetv that she wanted to be married but had to do what her father said.
She claims that although she had several admirers when she was younger, she never married any of them.
She claimed that because she was the eldest kid, her father instructed her to stay at home and take care of the house.
The woman claimed that because she had remained unmarried at a later date, she now regrets following that advice.
Speaking in Igbo, the woman stated: “why I didn’t get married? There is something my father told me. He told me not to leave his house. The load that was given to me was too much. Suitors used to come for me.”
