VIDEO: Omotola Jalade in hospital bed, battles life threatening illness

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, a well-known Nollywood actress, has talked candidly about her struggle with a serious disease.

In a video posted to her Instagram page on Thursday, the 46-year-old made this clear.

She revealed that she had surgery to remove her gallbladder in the caption of the viral video.

While giving gratitude to God, Omolola said “have you been told by the doctor that there’s nothing more we can do at this time? And you still feel like you are dying.”

Explaining how it started, she said “I threw up all night. By the morning the most dilapidated stomach pain started and I was rushed again to the emergency for the third time!

“This time, I was wheeled in for a CT scan, ultrasound and an MRI. Then the doctor said I have to go in for surgery immediately to remove my gallbladder. So the fight for my life began.”
