After having an adulterous romance with a married woman for more than 11 years, an unnamed Nigerian pastor was placed under arrest.

Reactions were sparked by a video that showed the police transporting the man from his home to the police van during this Edo State event.

The police handcuffed the clergyman in front of witnesses and neighbors in the video.

The video also captured the moment the preacher was paraded across Edo State, causing chaos in the community. Due to his extramarital romance with a married woman, the locals proceeded to deface his church.

Social media users expressed their opinions in the comment section of the video, which caused huge reactions. Below are a few responses:

queenmaynation said, “This is exactly what Yul did to Mr Obasi’s wife but y’all are cheering him on . Obasi clearly stated that Judy came home from school in 2012 and told him she met Pete Edochie son who promised to make her a star in Nollywood. Which means there was no script or story but she had to create one because her married boyfriend said so . Judy is the kind of woman all of you fight against. Women who were sent to school by men and later dumped them, Women who run away with the children without granting the children’s father access to them, women who leave their marriage to sleep with married men, Women with kids from different men . Yet she’s the best woman because you think supporting her means solidarity with brotherhood. Na man dey do man.”
