VIDEO: Portable laments after meeting Obi

After meeting with Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Nigerian singer Portable expressed regret.

Over the weekend, Portable met with Obi at Edo State.

Portable was in the state for a show, while Obi was in Benin to back Olumide Akpata, the Labour Party’s nominee for governor.

A video that went viral on social media showed Portable greeting Obi beside his car and bowing.

But in a different video, the musician lamented his disappointment, saying that Obi had not made him an offer of money.

He informed his crew drawing a comparison between Obi and President Bola Tinubu. “Obi cannot give us anything. Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu we met, he would have given us something. Let’s go.”
