A young Nigerian woman who moved to Egypt for work expressed her happiness at taking her very first flflight.

While working as a maid overseas, her elation quickly gave way to sadness as reality set in.

According to the woman (@bellashmurdagirl), who published her story on Thursday, March 27, her relationship with her female supervisor quickly soured.

She said that until much later, when she began to display her “true color,” the woman treated her well when she first came.

The Nigerian woman asked her boss for a fresh face cream when hers ran out, and the supervisor replied that she wasn’t using any either.

The housegirl posted a picture of herself with acne patches and a darker, rougher face. Because of how poisonous the workplace became, that marked the start of her difficulties at work.

The woman had the chance to see her family when she was in Egypt. She mentioned that she didn’t want to return to work. But despite her boss’s terrible behavior, she said her children were beautiful.
