As the controversial polling process gets underway around the state, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has cast his ballot at Unit 9, Ward 2 in Ede North Local Government Area.

Amid concerns about potential unrest, the governor cast his ballot as early as 8 a.m. on Saturday.

According to ZINGTIE, the election is proceeding according to plan, even though Lateef Fagbemi, the Federation’s attorney general, has advised against it.The Nigeria Police Force had also demanded that the exercise be halted, claiming that disputes between political groups would probably lead to chaos.

The Labour Party has also declared that it will withdraw from the exercise, citing concerns over the safety of its agents.
