On social media, a heartbreaking video of a Nigerian widow lamenting her husband’s passing has gone viral.

As she described the events leading up to her husband’s premature death, the distraught widow was filled with sorrow.

The video was shared by @ mummygeraldine on TikTok , where the woman sadly recalled the last time she saw her husband.

She claimed that after dropping her and their daughter off at her mother’s house, her husband left for a family gathering and never came back.

The woman, recalling the day her husband departed for the meeting, conveyed her sorrow and despair in the heartbreaking video.

She confessed that March 30 would long be imprinted in her memory as the day she lost her loving companion.

In her words: “My husband dropped I and my daughter at my mum’s place and said he will come back and carry use back when he is back from the family meeting. My husband did not return back from family meeting. March 30, a day I will never forget.”

Many people on TikTok were struck by the woman’s poignant message and her deep remembrance of her late husband.

Her narrative illustrated the terrible toll that loss has on families and those who care about them.
