Claiming to be a close friend of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, Dominica Chinwe has leveled grave accusations against Wunmi, the artist’s widow. Dominica said in a recent interview with social critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) that Wunmi had started a nefarious campaign that nearly destroyed her life.

Citing deception and treachery, including false charges and inciting violence, she disclosed that the incident left her mentally heartbroken for more than two years.

Her statements follow the release of her account of the contentious NDLEA operation in which Mohbad was allegedly beaten. Dominica claimed that shortly after that incident, she and Wunmi started to have disagreements.

“What I’m about to share now, I can swear with any juju because Wunmi almost destroyed my life. I was depressed for about two years because she made life miserable for me,” she stated during the interview.

After they left the NDLEA headquarters, Dominica recalled, Wunmi tried to get her to lie to Naira Marley by telling her to claim that the agency had poisoned Mohbad.

“She told me to tell Naira Marley that I saw NDLEA give Mohbad something to drink, but I refused. Naira Marley had called to ask me directly, and I told him the truth that I didn’t see anything like that. Wunmi barged into my house after that, shouting and accusing me of betraying her and Mohbad,”she said.

In actuality, she claims that Mohbad requested water and drank from a bottle on the table, which she later consumed on her own. She mentioned that a viral video about the incident had drawn attention from the public, which had eased stress.

Dominica went on to say that Wunmi later accused her of leaking news to websites like NaijaEverything and posing as the anonymous blogger Gistlover. She claimed that a fabricated rumor that she was seeing Mohbad and expecting his child was one of the most upsetting events.

“Wunmi was right beside me in my room when the blog post came out. I showed her, and she said I should use it for clout. She even tried to repost it. I grabbed my phone, messaged the blog, and they deleted the post and apologized,”she added.

Nevertheless, the drama went on. According to Dominica, Wunmi went behind her back and informed her housemates and other mutual acquaintances that she was giving Gistlover intimate information, particularly about influencer Papaya.

“Papaya and a guy ganged up and beat me while others watched and even hyped them. They made a video asking me to confess. It was humiliating. Wunmi was the one I introduced to all of them as my friend, so it was easy for them to believe everything she said,”she said through tears.
