The well-known social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has protested outside the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike’s Abuja home.
The demonstration comes after Wike declared his intention to deny local councils 10% of the statutory funding because they have not implemented the new minimum pay for primary school teachers, a problem that has sparked a walkout.
However, on Monday, VDM assembled uniformed schoolchildren and led a session in which he taught them the alphabet’s letters.
“S for Suegbe, T for Tinubu, W for Wike,” VDM called out, while the children repeated.
He declared that the students would now use Wike’s gate as their new classroom.
