Segun Sowunmi, a leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has fought with Yeni Kuti, a well-known media personality, over his visit to President Tinubu.

According to ZINGTIE, Sowunmi spent the weekend at President Tinubu’s home in Lagos State.

Sowunmi is a strong opponent of Tinubu and was the former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential contender in the general election of 2023.

On the internet, his visit generated a range of responses and criticism.

But when Segun Sowunmi appeared on TVC’s Your View program on Tuesday, he got into a heated argument with anchor Yeni Kuti when she asked him, “When are you moving to the APC?”

Kuti said “You’ve had a lot of criticism for the president, now your tune seems to have changed (after visit). So when is your own move? When are you leaving the PDP to join APC?”

Sowunmi replied; “Although I cannot see who is asking those questions, I didn’t come to your programme so you can try to be cheeky with me, stop that”.

Kuti responded; “I can’t be cheeky with you because I’m sure that I’m older than you”.

Sowunmi reacted ‘’Oh sister oo! My Aunty! I take that back. Please don’t be angry”

Clapping back, the 64-year-old media personality said “I’m not your aunty”.
