VIDEOS: Woman shares how husband who visited her in UK died while travelling back to Nigeria

A Nigerian woman living in the UK talked candidly about how she found out about her husband’s passing.

She described how her spouse passed away on his way back to Nigeria after visiting her in the UK.

In a video by @princessolarealtalk , the woman explained how she and her kids were based in the UK, while her husband was based in Nigeria.

She stated that he had come to the UK for their child’s first birthday celebration in 2022 and had made the decision to come back a month later.

According to the woman, her husband was scheduled to arrive in Nigeria on Saturday after making a stopover in Ethiopia around midnight on Friday.

The woman tried to call him on Saturday when the plane was scheduled to land, but the call was unsuccessful.

She told how she phoned the driver and his sister, who was due to meet him, but didn’t get through to him.

In another video, she described how she was finally able to talk to someone who knew about her spouse on Monday.

She was told that her spouse had a medical emergency and was transported to the hospital right away after making a stopover in Ethiopia.

The widow was also provided with the phone number of the Nigerian embassy official who received her husband’s case.

Her words: “I can remember calling this man on the 5th of December 2022 at around 6:30 am. The man said ‘Madam, we’ve been trying to get through to you. Things like that happen.”
