In Dan Sadau, Maru Local Government Area, vigilante agents in Zamfara State have slain Ayuba, a notorious bandit commander, and nine of his cronies.

Security expert Bakatsine disclosed this in a post on X on Wednesday, stating that the operation was carried out on Tuesday.

“Yesterday, vigilantes operatives in Zamfara State, killed notorious bandit leader Ayuba and nine of his fighters in Dan Sadau, Maru LGA, Zamfara State,” Bakatsine wrote.

Additionally, according to Bakatsine, gunmen stormed Mashanya in Katsina State’s Bakori Local Government Area on Tuesday night, robbing six people and stealing numerous cattle.

He continued by saying that the perpetrators returned to Kabara village in the same LGA early on Wednesday morning, just after the Subh prayer, and kidnapped a number of more residents.

“Yesterday night, bandits attacked Mashanya in Bakori LGA, Katsina State, abducting six people and rustling many cattle. Early this morning, shortly after the Subh prayer, they returned to Kabara village in the same LGA and abducted several residents,” he added.
