A viral CCTV video purportedly depicting a plumber and a housemaid behaving inappropriately within a residential apartment in Lagos, Nigeria, has generated extensive reactions on social media.

The video, said to be circulating on social platforms, reportedly shows the two individuals inside a private residence where the plumber was invited to perform repair work. As reported online, the event took place within a high-rise apartment in an undisclosed location in Lagos.

The footage reportedly emerged after the homeowner examined CCTV recordings set up for security reasons. The clip has since sparked a heated online debate, with numerous users voicing their astonishment at what is characterized as a violation of trust in the home.

Reports indicate that the plumber was arrested for questioning after the homeowner reviewed the CCTV footage.

During questioning, the plumber purportedly stated that he was forced upon by the housemaid. Nevertheless, it has been reported that police authorities rejected his justification, claiming it does not constitute a valid excuse for the incident.

Moreover, the investigators remarked that the issue would be dealt with legally and that the suspect might confront prosecution and potential imprisonment based on the results of current investigations.

While certain users of social media have denounced the purported conduct as lacking ethics and professionalism.
