Following the release of a video that has alarmed Nigerians, recent debates have centered on the health of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Minister Wike has responded by adamantly refuting these rumors and claiming that he is healthy enough to carry out his official responsibilities. He said, “God has given me good health, which is why I have the energy to do what I am doing.” ​

With the exception of a recent video that went viral and showed the minister limping and having trouble walking, there is no concrete evidence to support the claim that Minister Wike is dealing with health problems that are interfering with his duties, according to the minister and his associates.
