Nigerian artist Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P and one half of the music duo P-Square, has spoken out about his separation from his twin brother, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy.
In a recent interview with Cool FM in Lagos, Mr P shared that pursuing a solo career brings him a sense of fulfillment. He called on fans to accept and support their individual choices, explaining that although they made efforts to stay together as a group, things simply weren’t working out.
“There’s a joy that comes with going solo. Please respect our decisions. We’ve tried it, it’s not working,” he said.
Paul had earlier confirmed in August of the previous year that the group had parted ways once more. P-Square initially split in 2016 but later reunited in 2021.
