The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has come under fire from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for causing Nigeria to experience an unheard-of economic downturn since seizing power in 2015.
Mani Ahmed, the chairman of the ADC’s Board of Trustees, BoT, said this in Abuja while outlining the party’s stance on Nigerian politics.
Ahmed spoke on behalf of the party’s National Chairman, Ralph Okey Nwosu.
Ahmed lamented the nation’s gradual decline, pointing out that day-to-day living is getting harder.
Approximately five million Nigerians are added to the list of people living in poverty worldwide each year, according to statistics quoted by the head of the Board of Trustees. This is a depressing fact for a country rich in natural riches.
He emphasized that effective leadership and excellent governance are the only ways to bring about significant change, and that ADC has proven to be a strong platform for re-engineering Nigeria throughout the years.
