Stephen Curry, a star for the Golden State Warriors, has stated that he has the highest regard for Lionel Messi, the captain of Inter Miami, since the Argentine takes care of himself both on and off the field.
Additionally, Curry praised Messi for his accomplishments, longevity, and influence in football.
Many people consider Messi to be among the best football players of all time.
He has won four UEFA Champions League titles, two Copa America titles, an Olympic gold medal, eight Ballon d’Or awards, six Golden Boots, and the FIFA World Cup, among other honors.
“Greatness inspires greatness in many ways. There’s nothing specific you can apply for football to basketball. It’s about longevity, creativity, his [Messi’s] impact on the sport worldwide,” Curry said via GOAL.
“We appreciate greatness, of course, he inspires you to keep going and to keep doing things your way. I have the utmost respect for him for how he takes care of himself both on and off the field. I try to emulate the same.”
One of the greatest basketball players of all time is Curry.
He has established himself as one of the finest in the game with four NBA titles, two MVP honors, an Olympic gold medal, and numerous other honors.
