Mr. Macaroni, a well-known Nigerian activist and sketch creator, has explained why he will keep ignoring Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the current governor of Lagos State.

Macaroni revealed this when responding to an X user named @OyesileJohn who criticized him for ignoring the Governor.

The user @OyesileJohn tweeted: “To make fun of a Macarroni who ignored the governor of Lagos state in an effort to appease the crowd. Omo ase.

Many people are supporting Macaroni for upholding his morals in the tweet, which has generated a flurry of social media responses.

In a series of messages on his handle, the sketch creator responded to the user by saying he would keep ignoring Governor Sanwo-Olu.

“I will continue to snub your Governor. He doesn’t mean anything to me, neither do you or your father. I love that you slaves bring this issue up all the time.

“For every time you do, I will send you to your masters.”

Macaroni went on to say that he could never interact with the government that “stripped me naked, beat, tortured, brutalized, and dehumanized me” as justification for his choice.

He described how the police ordered him to “stop disturbing the governor” while he was in custody.
