Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State, has stated that he will continue to dance, emphasizing that it won’t interfere with his job.

This statement was delivered by Governor Adeleke on Wednesday during a guest appearance on “Politics Today,” a Channels Television program that ZINGTIE watches.

According to ZINGTIE, Adeleke was well-known for his dancing while serving as a senator, which is how the term “dancing senator” originated.

“Let me tell you something. I will keep dancing because I love to dance, I love to praise my God. That doesn’t change anything. You understand what I’m saying?

“Everybody has their way of relaxing or hobby. My hobby is to dance and praise my God. That does not affect my work,” he said.

In front of the 2026 Osun State gubernatorial election, the governor resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the Accord Party on Tuesday night.

He received the party ticket from the Accord Party on Wednesday during its Osogbo primaries.
