Simon Ekpa, a Biafra agitator based in Finland, shocked Southeasterners on Friday amid the unrest in the area that his guys are allegedly responsible for.
The IPOB agitator claimed it was a conspiracy by the organizers to utilize applicants as human sacrifices over the weekend after announcing that there is ongoing recruitment for a new security unit founded by Governor Hope Uzodinma.
Southeasterners should avoid the recruitment exercise, Ekpa warned, to save being sacrificed or dying young.
The IPOB agitator added: “As we get closer to our declaration, we call on every Family to stay away from any meeting that is not called and announced by the Biafra de facto government in the homeland, which must be announced by the Prime Minister and aired, by BRGIE media.
“In the coming days, the Voice of Biafra satellite radio will start broadcasting 24/7 in some States and will gradually cover all 40 states of Biafra by July/August. Disregard anything you didn’t hear from us to avoid early death or being used as a sacrifice by desperate IPOB Nigeria criminals.
“Make sure this message get to people of Ezinihitte or any other place such meeting has been called, and let them know that no body must attend such meeting this coming Sunday 7.4.2024 and beyond.”
The Eastern Security Network (ESN), a paramilitary group of the Indigenous People of Biafra founded by Ekpa’s mentor, Nnamdi Kanu, was said to have dissolved last week.
Recall that Kanu declared on December 12, 2020, the creation of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), a regional security force, with the aim of driving out illegal forest squatters and bandits who frequently engage in conflict with farmers in Biafra territory.
Paradoxically, on Friday, March 29, Ekpa declared that he is the Commander-in-Chief of the Biafra Defence Force (BDF) and that ESN no longer exists in a declaration headed “BIAFRA GOVERNMENT LISTING OF WANTED CRIMINALS.”

Also included were Oye Fubara Igenewari, representing those elected as local government executives, and ThankGod Beke, representing ward executives As interested parties, they asked the court for permission to appeal the ruling that removed them from office. The PDP, the original suit's respondent, has already appealed the decision that declared the congresses invalid, thus Justice Stephen Jumbo rejected the motion in his decision on Friday.
