Woman kills husband at night after he questions her about where she got money

A 29-year-old woman is accused of killing her husband during a furious midnight altercation over ₦15,000 (Ush50,000), shocking a sleepy Ugandan village.

Police claim that after her husband questioned her about the unexpected money she brought home, the woman slashed his throat with a machete. That night, the man, who was named as Brian Twimukye (30), became envious since he had long suspected that his wife was covertly meeting another man.

The terrible event took place in the Katara area at approximately 11:30 PM. After the argument about the money, the woman lost it, according to a police report. She grabbed a machete and attacked her husband, first slicing his neck and then hacking his limbs and legs.

Because the couple resided in a remote location, neighbors were unable to react in time. Brian passed away within an hour after being taken to Rugazi Health Centre.

According to sources, the husband had been accusing his wife of being unfaithful, and the couple had been struggling with ongoing mistrust. Unfortunately, there was bloodshed at the end.
