“He stabbed me and left me to die”: Woman survives 6-hours surgery after brutal attack by husband

After her ex-lover stabbed her and left her bleeding, believing she would die, a young mother from Nakuru is fortunate to be alive. Despite a six-hour emergency surgery that left physicians fighting for her life, she managed to survive.

She goes by Caroline, and her tale is one of suffering, treachery, perseverance, and fortitude.

He was kind at first. affection. encouraging. However, things changed after she gave birth to their child. He turned violent, domineering, and cunning. Not only did he attack her, but he also tried to manipulate her thoughts, turned their child against her, and followed her around like a predator even after she left.

She believed the horror was finished when she left him. She was mistaken.

He continued to follow her. He made fun of her. He made her life extremely difficult. She removed all apps to protect herself, with the exception of YouTube and WhatsApp, where she hardly ever displays her face anymore.

The day of the attack then arrived.

He stabbed her after cornering her and leaving her bleeding. She was unconscious and battling for her life when she was taken to the hospital. Six agonizing hours were spent on the surgery. In an attempt to reverse the damage caused by his blade, medical professionals removed internal injuries and clotted blood.

Caroline, however, survived. She survived. for herself. For her kid. for a fresh start.

She is raising her child and coming up now that she has recovered from her emotional and physical scars. Additionally, Kenyans are supporting her and calling for justice and safety for women like her.
