Popular Yoruba film actress Yetunde Wunmi has disclosed that she was arrested by the police when attempting to smuggle hard drugs overseas. She has also disclosed that, upon her release from police prison, she received an enormous sum of money from the same individuals to smuggle hard drugs abroad.

After being freed by the police, Doyin Kukoyi said in a video interview that was uploaded to the Doyin Kukoyi TV YouTube site that she had received an offer of large sums of money to carry hard drugs overseas.

In her statement, she said, “When I was arrested by the police, they handcuffed me and followed me to search my house.

“A lot of people came to my rescue when I was in police custody, and on the day of my judgment, the court was full of people who came to support me.

“I was offered big money to smuggle cocaine abroad after I was released by the police.

“The same people who gave me the job were the ones offering me another huge amount of money, and they told me they would protect me, but I declined their request.”
