Pastor Umo Eno, the governor of Akwa Ibom State, has addressed recent criticism from Kenneth Okonkwo, a Nollywood actor and leader of the Labour Party, after the governor defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

By comparing Governor Eno to a “transgenderic in politics” and referring to him as “a man in woman form,” Okonkwo had made disparaging remarks that caused a stir and garnered widespread media attention.

Governor Eno responded bluntly while speaking to a group of supporters at the Akwa Ibom International Airport. Kenneth Okonkwo, according to him, is “a failed lawyer, a failed actor, and a failed politician still living in bondage.”

“What is happening in Akwa Ibom is reality, joining the APC is within my constitutional right. Kenneth Okonkwo should focus on his own state and personal issues.” the Governor stated.
