You’re a Judicial Bandit – Sen Abbo knocks Justice Chioma

The justices of the appeals courts, supreme courts, and other lower courts in Nigeria have been under heavy fire recently for what many saw as a cheapening of the democratic process.

Many of them used the current state of affairs in the Plateau State as an example, when lawfully elected lawmakers were removed from office due to wrong rulings made by appeals court justices.

The justice system’s incorrect precedent gives the impression that the public’s confidence in the system is a constitutional problem.

Mr. Ishaku Abbo (Cliff), a former senator from the Adamawa Northern Senatorial District, claimed at a global press conference that the country’s judicial system is placing ordinary people in danger.

During the press conference, Senator Abbo made fun of Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme, saying that she was no better than robbers who were also kidnappers.

Nwosu is a “Judiciary bandit,” according to Abbo, who claims that Nwosu is more interested in becoming a Supreme Court judge than a judge in the Nigerian legal system.

The former senator petitioned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, claiming that Nwosu is dishonest and that her cash-and-carry rulings against him have damaged the judiciary’s reputation.

He claimed Chioma’s corruption was why he received over eleven thousand votes and won the election. He delivered a twisted verdict.

“We have kept quiet for a long and seen some Judiciary bandits become threats to Nigerian Democracy, it’s time to hold them liable. Why are judges are above the law? Do you need to be in the good book of a judge or on the site of the law for justice to prevail?

“The Judge who gave the skewed and perverted judgment to the extent of going against her judgment about my judgment in other cases was nominated to be a Supreme Court Judge.

“I have petitioned the president never to swear in Chioma Because we don’t need those types of judges in the Supreme Court, my petition to the Nigerian Judiciary Council is there to tell never to allow her to be sworn in because she is corrupt,” Abbo said

Abbo called on Justice Monica Damsa, the president of the Court of Appeal, to inform her that the judges of the Court of Appeal have turned into a sh and carry men and women who work as point of sale (POS) machine agents while reading his letter of petition written to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Journalists in Abuja.

After reading the petition letter addressed to President Bola, Abbo cautioned that Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme ought not to take the oath of office as a Supreme Court justice.

He claimed that Chioma had used her to subvert the democratic system to carry out a judiciary coup against him and his brother, Hon. Jingi Rufai.
