Gunmen thought to be bandits have kidnapped Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, who serves as the North-West Youth Leader of the Tinubu/Shettima campaign organization in Zamfara State.
Security analyst Bakatsine shared a post on X on Thursday that made the incident public.
The post states that during the assault, more than 30 armed individuals stormed Gusau’s residence in Gusau town and abducted him.
It was reported that the abduction occurred in front of his wife, causing distress to the family.
Bakatsine revealed that security agencies were promptly notified, but attempts to find the victim have not yet yielded results.
In response to the incident, the security analyst raised doubts about the ongoing occurrence of violent attacks in the area and inquired how much longer residents of Zamfara would have to endure a banditry threat.
