2027: Edo Gov makes fresh promises to Tinubu, reveals why Nigeria not like America

In 2027, Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has promised to cast 2.5 million votes in favor of President Bola Tinubu.

On Wednesday, Okpebholo gave a speech as part of the Esan Central by-election campaign.

The governor asserted that because past administrations did not have a president like Tinubu, Nigeria is still not as developed as the United States.

Citing the recently approved tax reform laws, he asserted that President Tinubu’s administration has successfully addressed the nation’s economic issues.

He said, “I, your son, have promised President Tinubu 2.5 million votes. If Nigeria had two presidents like President Tinubu, Nigeria would be like America.

“I promise that by the grace of God, come 2027, we will deliver those votes.

“He has been able to stabilize our economy through tax reform”.

Since taking office as governor of Edo in November of last year, the governor has reportedly been supporting the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, according to ZINGTIE.
