Speed Darlington, a Nigerian rapper better known by his stage name Akpi, has spoken out following his release from police custody.

ZINGTIE recalls how Burna Boy detained the rapper a few days before for making slanderous remarks.

He was arrested following a video in which he questioned Burna Boy’s Grammy award’s legitimacy. Connecting embattled American singer Diddy with Burna Boy.

But in a video that was circulated to make fun of Burna Boy, Darlington stated that “it takes 30 million to carry me” just days after being released from police custody.

He said, “EFCC dey give bed, DSS dey give food. I don survive ground zero, what can you do to me next? If I go missing, na you, if you go missing, no be me.”

Captioning the video, he wrote; “Big fish; it takes 30 million to carry me.”
