Armed bandits carried out an attack on two communities in Katsina State, resulting in two deaths, the abduction of 15 individuals, and the theft of numerous livestock.
The first attack took place in Unguwar Fadi, where armed assailants invaded the community at night, killing two residents and abducting 15 people.
In a separate assault, the attackers targeted Yargoje community, making off with an undisclosed number of cattle and other livestock.
Security analyst Bakatsine revealed the incidents on Sunday through a post on X (formerly Twitter).
He said, “ Yesterday night, bandits attacked the Unguwar Fadi community, where they killed two people and abducted 15 people.
“In a similar vein, they raided Yargoje community, where they rustled large number of cattle and livestock.”
