Atiku Abubakar, the former vice president and leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), paid former President Olusegun Obasanjo a visit on Monday.
According to ZINGTIE, Atiku’s entourage consisted of Senator Aminu Tambuwal, Senator Abdul Ningi, who represented Bauchi Central, and former Governors Liyel Imoke of Cross River and Sokoto States.

After the visit, there were rumors that the visit might have been related to the 2027 presidential race, when opposition leaders are vying for power and trying to remove President Bola Tinubu.
