After obtaining a N10,000 loan using the OPay loan function (which was supplied by a third party), a Nigerian young man known on Facebook as Collins Chelsea has expressed his displeasure on social media.

Collins explained how he obtained the loan, saying that when he initially experimented with the OPay third-party lending option, he discovered that he could borrow up to N10,000.

After completing the loan application, the young man received a N10,000 credit.

Collins lamented that he must pay N11,953 by April 24 and shared a screenshot of his OPay loan dashboard. He also stated that he is seeking a partner with whom to split the payment.

Collins took out a loan, and according to his dashboard, the interest on that loan is N1,953.

Collins penned: “For the first time I open my OPAY loan feature just de play with am, I come see say I fit Borrow up to 10k oyana I come press am baba e come drop.

“I’m to pay 11,953 April 24th.

“Right now I’m looking for who to share the money with… Omo.”
