Famous Nollywood actor, Uzor Arukwe, has finally responded to the widespread rumors regarding his sexuality.
Earlier, there had been speculation suggesting that Arukwe was gay.
During his appearance on the ‘Unfiltered and Extra Spicy’ show, the actor dismissed the rumors, calling them false.
While expressing his love and support for his gay friends, Arukwe clarified that they are simply his friends, and he values them for who they are.
“The worst rumour I have ever heard about myself was that I’m a gay. I was shocked to my bones, but at the same time I was excited because I heard that you will blow when people start saying those kinds of things about you, so I told myself, ‘this must be it.
“I have a lot of gay friends, and I love them. They are my friends so I know their sexuality, and I love them to death. I have nothing against them whatsoever.
“But I’m not a gay, and I won’t agree to what I am not. For me, let God be the judge. If it is my sexuality, I would own it. I will be one of the hottest around”.
