After fighting with her 17-year-old brother about property, a 22-year-old Nigerian woman living in Canada went viral and the police were called in and a possible lawsuit.

In a series of posts published on TikTok, the woman described the incident and her experience.

She claims that the argument started when her brother allegedly sold a number of her personal items without getting her permission, including a scooter that she stated to have purchased for $700 but that he sold for only $100.

She disclosed that she was ordered to leave the residence even after giving the police her version of events. She declared her plan to sue her brother after becoming frustrated with the result.

She conveyed her surprise and betrayal in one of the videos: “Thisis the criminal”

She added that after contacting the police on her, her younger brother told them this.

She clarified that she was financially insecure as a result of her health crisis late last year: “I got severely sick in November of 2024, which made me lose my job. I couldn’t pay rent, so I entrusted a close friend of mine to rent my room while my dad paid my brother’s rent.”

She continued:“I traveled to Toronto in February to look for jobs. I got back today and this is what I faced. I used to live here. The agreement between me and the roommate was that he would stay here and pay rent while I was gone, because he didn’t have anywhere to stay.”

“He begged me to let him stay. I didn’t want to sell my stuff because I had so many things in the house.”

“My brother took my $700 scooter and sold it for $100,” she added.

Despite her efforts to explain her predicament to the police, the lady stated she was told to leave the residence, alleging that the police accepted a different version of events.
