Chelsea are reportedly preparing for another major squad shake-up this summer, with around nine players expected to leave the club.

New manager Enzo Maresca is aiming to trim down the squad, identifying several players who no longer fit into his long-term plans.

According to BBC Sport, the Blues have made a group of nine players available for transfer ahead of the new season.

Maresca is said to have compiled a list of those he no longer considers essential to his project at Stamford Bridge.

The players reportedly up for sale include: Raheem Sterling, Axel Disasi, Djordje Petrovic, Armando Broja, João Félix, Renato Veiga, Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Lesley Ugochukwu.

Both Sterling and Félix were excluded from Chelsea’s squad for the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.

Sterling, an England international, spent the previous campaign on loan at Arsenal but struggled to make a meaningful impression at the Emirates.

Félix, meanwhile, had a loan spell at AC Milan from January to season’s end, but the Italian club has reportedly decided not to pursue a permanent deal for the Portuguese forward.
