Fabo didn’t think someone could truly love him. Life had never been simple, having been reared by a Catholic nun after losing his parents and born without legs. He had no legs, though, which was a major secret he kept hidden until love found him.

During a talent search program for those with impairments, he got to know Deborah. Something about her stood out, even though she was merely a pretty face in the crowd. He approached her with his prosthetic legs after the event and requested her phone number.

That tiny action made a big difference.

They struck up a conversation, fell in love, and started making plans for the future. But despite all of the memories and fun, Fabo never disclosed to her the reality of his illness. If she found out, he was afraid she might go.

Everything was ideal on the day of their wedding. The festivities, the smiles, the vows. However, he eventually came clean about the fact that he was legless during their honeymoon.

Deborah was taken aback. She initially found it hard to believe. However, something in her heart whispered, “Stay,” when she witnessed it firsthand.

She also did.

It was his soul, not his legs, that she adored. They have a lovely child and are contentedly married now.

This is not merely a love story; it is also a tale of faith, acceptance, and remaining loyal in the face of adversity.
