Bolaji Abdullahi, the African Democratic Congress’s (ADC) interim national publicity secretary, has denied that the party is acting in northern Nigeria’s best interests.
This rebuttal was given by Abdullahi on Sunday’s broadcast of Channels Television’s “Politics Today.”
According to the ZINGTIE, Dumebi Kachikwu, the ADC’s 2023 presidential candidate, had charged that the coalition formed on the party’s platform was working toward a northern agenda.
Additionally, Kachikwu claimed that the ADC was planning to bring power back to the north.
In response, Abdullahi criticized Kachikwu, said he should be ashamed of himself, and called the accusations baseless.
The spokesman also emphasized a few prominent party members from the south, a situation that, in his opinion, illustrates the coalition’s nationwide reach.
He also emphasized that the ADC was aware of the government’s attempts to sow discord within the party and was attempting to thwart them.
